Applying Patch 24

Hi All

need some help here pls?!!!

I have to make a new package to deploy SAP640 with Patch 24

I apply the patch in SAPADMIN

when I open the View - it shows that sapadmin is on patch level 24

however if I create a package from this and execute it - the Gui remains on patch level 14

isn't the new package that I created suppose to on patch level 24

- I dont want to do this in more that one step

You are talking about SAPGUI, right?

if SAPADMIN is on patch 24, that does not mean, that SAPGUI is on patch 24 too. SAPSetup is only the setup program itself.

What exactly are you patching, what´s the filename?

I found the problem

I used a new machine to create the package from - it seem that there might be a problem with the machine I use initially -

it is working like a charm now
