What does this mean?

Add 0TCAIFAREA as an external hierarchy characteristic to 0INFOPROV (optional)

Hello Nicolette,

you can use the InfoArea hierarchy to assign authorizations for InfoProviders. In order to do this you have to add characteristic 0TCAIFAREA as a characteristic which the system can use for the nodes. This is done in transaction RSD1 for 0TCAIPROV > Hierarchy tab.
