No Business area can be determined for the item 00010

I got this message V1599 - The system could not determine for the item 00010.

The item 00010 has plant 1000and is assigned to company 1000 for which the business area is required. This is caused by incomplete setting in the Customizing.

I need the steps to correct this problem.

hai,

you have to assign the buisness area for that i.e in SPR0SALESAND DISTRIBUTIONBUISNESS AREA DETERMINATION.

here u will find three rules

1. buisness area can be determined according sales area

2.according to plant and division.

not able to get the third one.. check out the link mentioned above and assign

the buisness area accordingly.

1. You have to assign bussiness area to ur sales area.

Menu Path:

SPRO,ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE,ASSIGNMENT, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION, BUSSINESS AREA ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT, DEFINE RULES BY SALES AREA. After that Assign Bussiness area By sales area.
