Hi Experts,
We have 2 R/3 systems ECC 5.0 & ECC 6.0, we are trying to transfer same location to one APO system. We have made all the neccessary BSG config settings but while transfering same location from second R/3(ECC 6.0) system, it is giving an error.
Could you please let me know if there is any thing needs to code in USER EXIT?
Regards,
Hitesh.
Hitesh,
this is similar to a post I have added yesterday but relating to products. I expect you should use the user exit APOCF001- Inbound processing of location to either prefix or in some manner differentiate the fact that you have two of the same locations from different R/3 systems. By the way do you not have the same problem with products?
cheers
Paul

Hello Hitesh -
This might be of help.
If both the vendor and the customer have the same number in the SAP R/3 system (for example, customer and vendor 1000), you need to rename one of them when entering them into SAP APO by using the customer exit for the vendor master record (for example, you can rename the vendor S1000). If you do not do this, the system is unable to differentiate between the two locations.
(Reason: The location type is a key field in the /SAPAPO/LOCMAP table, but only an attribute in the /SAPAPO/LOC table.)
Location APOCF001 EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_LOC_001 Inbound processing: location
