New Tcode RSECADMIN *& Auth Object S_RS_AUTH

Hello Marc,

Based on your email below, we are using role-based and do not have access to the new tcode RSECADMIN and auth object S_RS_AUTH in the role(s), do we need to build a new role to provide access to the new tcode and auth object BEFORE the migration in regards to Security requirements?

Thanks,

Niki

Subject: RE: New Analysis Auth

Hello Nicolette,

there's no before or after... If you run the migration, your old authorizations (from transaction RSSM) will be copied into new authorizations (in RSECADMIN). You can then check everything in RSECADMIN. If the result is ok, you switch to the new auth. concept in the IMG and start to test your queries.

Regards

Marc

Hi Nicolette

- No one except security people should have access to tcode RSECADMIN

- You need to add S_RS_AUTH to your roles after the migration.

Marc
