Split Sales orders in background( SCM 5.0 )

Hello,

I have a split rule and am trying to apply the rule in /sapapo/vs01 by click on the FU definition button, but I dont see where it would do that, I can split it manually by clicking on the split button but thats not what I want.

We would like to create a background job for our sales orders splits(optimization profile) and the rule should be automatically applied based on the settings in /sapapo/vs14.

Can this be done ? Would appreciate pointers in the right direction.

Imran,

You have 2 options.

1). Use the automatic split fucntionality where you can create split rules. These rules will be automatically executed when you enter /SAPAPO/VS01.

2). Manual Split. Same rules can be defined as for manual splits. This has to be done using a seperate transaction. You can set this transaction as a background job.
