APO DP - deactivation of a planning object structure

I am using APO DP V5.

When trying to deactivate a planning object structure, I get message /SAPAPO/TSM792, and cannot deactivate.

Any ideas on this?

Hi Bob

Please check whether your planning area (planning area used to POS) is

linked to consumption group.

If Planning area is linked to consumption group, you might get such a error

message.

You can check whether your planning area linked to consumption group or not

in following menu.

IMG->APO->SCP->DP->Basic Setting->Consumption->Maintain consumption group

if it is related, please cut the link and try to deactivate again

Are there any other messages you get at the time rather than it has just failed to deactivate?

Does the error message give any other text, or is it one of the wonderful APO error messages that give you no clues 🐵

No, no other messages appear, just /SAPAPO/TSM792.

Assume you have checked for any active planning areas and/or data extractors that may still be in place?
