SC does not determine source of supply if Source List maintianed in R/3

Dear All,

We are working on Self Service Procurement with Classic scenario. Issue is shopping cart does not determine Source of Supply from backend R/3 when source list is maintained in R/3. Source of supply is blank.

But system picks the correct source of supply if source list is not maintained for Material/Plant combination and only Info record / Agreements are maintained.

Any idea what could be the reason for such behavior? Has anyone faced this problem?

Thanks for the threads info, however they do not answer or resolve my problem. The issue is we are going or SSP classic scenario as well as PDP with Sourcing scenario.

Where R/3 PR will be created as SC follow-on document. In the backend there would be contract available for the SC Material. Now in R/3 once the PR is available system will assign source of supply and create PO automatically (with assign and process option).

Now in our case since Source list is maintained in R/3, SRM does not pick the Source list as valid source of supply and push the SC in Purchases sourcing cockpit.

We have set sourcing as "Sourcing carried out for items without source of supply".

Thanks for information,

It seems this could be bug in SRM SOS. I could see many new OSS notes related to SOS.

It makes sense to escalate this to SAP.
