Hi,

We are running SAPKB70005 package.

I have tried to give parameter in portal iview. Still problem is not solved.

So you need at least SP07.

Kindly close the thread and award appropriate a points to the answer given.

Can you read the OSS note 891525? If not I paste it here (loosing the formatting):

***************

Summary

Symptom

The initial picture on start of a Web Dynpro ABAP application shall be skipped.

Solution

- Install the attached support package

- Add the following URL parameter to the call of the application:

"sap-wd-skipSplashscreen=X"

- or set the parameter "WDSKIPSPLASHSCREEN=X" on the application parameter screen of the Web Dynpro Application.

Change with SP07

With Sp07 we change the default behaviour. The default is that we do not display the initial splashscreen. It can be enabled by setting the application parameter "WDDISPLAYSPLASHSCREEN=X" or using the URL parameter "sap-wd-displaySplashscreen=X".

If the application is called from the enterprise portal, the splashscreen will not be displayed.

Hi,

I dont know SP level. But i couldnt find WDSKIPSPLASHSCREEN parameter in Application but i found only WDCONFIGURATIONID.

How to then define parameters?

To see the Support Package level choose System - Status in your SAPgui.

In the SAP System Data box you have to click on the small icon (Component information ) under the Component Version. You'll find the level of SAP_BASIS.

It seems that you are running quite an old version...but you can try to append the &sap-wd-skipSplashscreen=X string to your URL (before calling the WDA).

SE80, click on the Web Dynpro Application, you'll see the Paremeters TAB on the right.

But better read the OSS note I find just after replying.

Which is your SP level?

On Web Dynpro application (SE80) you can find the WDDISPLAYSPLASHSCREEN parameter.

Have a look to:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/7b/fb57412df8091de10000000a155106/content.htm

and

to the OSS note 891525.

It says to use add the parameter: sap-wd-skipSplashscreen=X
