HEADER /ITEM CONDITION?

I have a discount condition to be maintained at order level,

Will this condition be @ item/header I know manual condition should be header but I need this condition to be restricted to certain users.

I got a suggestion that this condition can be item condition & can be control in condition type details screen : CHANGES WHICH CAN BE MADE MANUALLY

Here I have to select instead of D:not possible to process manually

A: FREE,

I need your opinion how to go for this condition item or header….

Hi,

As you said header condition will be manual only.So maintain this condition type as Item condition with proper access sequence.As you have maintained D ,user will not be able to change it manually in sales order.Ideaaly discount condition should be able able to change depending on case to case basis by user.So if you maintained C instead of D in condition type control then this condition record will be determined by system,but if needed it can be changed also.

It is s pure bussiness decision,you can give both options

But in this case we are maintaining item condition & changes which can be made manually we select as A : FREE.....

What happens in system if we maintain as Free ? I have never tried this.
