I'm trying to use an BLS template I downloaded off Service Marketplace called WorkOrderList. It's req'd SAP release is 4.7 but we're running 4.6c. (The template refers to a BAPI not available in 4.6c.) What is the recommended approach for modifying the template for use with 4.6c?
Jokes apart - I don't see how one can use the template if the BAPI is absent in that particular version.
Maybe you can write a ZBAPI or try to identify a similar BAPI in the existing version and then try reusing rest of the logic (minus the JCO action) from the downloaded template.
Good ideas - especially the one about upgrading SAP. (Actually we're planning an upgrade to ECC 6.0 to be complete 2Q of next year, meaning whatever I do now in BLS will have to be redone next year. Oh well, it's good job security.)
