Urgent - Messages in "HOLD" status - Alerting

Is there any way that one can get alerted for messages being in HOLD status.

say, for 2 hours.

can u please explain the exact problem a bit,i came across one thread where the alerts were being receiver 7-8 hrs after being triggered

If there is a message in HOLD status due to some reason, I want to get alerted and receive a message in the Alert Inbox.

Please have a look at the note: 813993.

PS: IF a EOIO message fails then the next one will be in HOLD state.

Naveen, Did you get any resolution to your problem? I am facing this problem too. My scenario is that I am using a JMS adapter and some of the messages go into the "Holding" state and all subsequent messages (belonging to that Conversation ID) go into the Hold status as well. How can i generate Alerts for these "Holding" messages.

The Alert would have been triggered for the first error message which is stopping the rest of your EOIO messages. Alerts will not be triggered for the Holding menage, instead you would need to use the alert of the Error Message ( the first message that errors out ), clear / cancel that message and let the other message go through.
