Adapter Type Missing

Hi All,

Can anyone say me why I can't select adapter type in a communication channel???

HI Albert,

to get replicate list of adapters at configuration time in your communication channel u need to deploy one archive file on u r XI server.

there is one sda file in XI server, right now im not sure about name. but it should be simillar to this name " technicaladapters.sda". check for this sda file and then deploy it using "SDM" (software deployment manager).

once u deploy this file on XI server, u will get list of adapters in ID. then u will be able to select 'adapter type'.

The problem was the .tpz files. I re-imported them and actually all runs ok.

Estaba equivocado en la nota. Que apliquen la 836200. UNa vez hayan hecho sus tareas, reimporta el SWCV SAP BASIS 7.00 o SAP BASIS 6.40, segun sea NW 2004s o NW2004.

Hi Albert,

If the SAP BASIS software component is not visible in IR. Then ask your basis team to import the same.

In case it is already imported.

Do a complete Cache Refresh using the following link..

http://<xiserver>:5<sysid>00/CPACache/refresh?mode=full.

Hi Albert.

Trye reimporting your SWCV SAP BASIS 6.40 if netweaver 2004 or SAP BASIS 7.00 if netweaver 2004s.

If doing this, you don't have the adapters, is because *.tpz files that contain definitions and SAP demos is not availbale. Ask your BASIS team to put the necessary files into correct folders so you can import them and have adapters.

No tienes los adaptadores porque es posible que falten unos ficheros *.tpz en los servidores que contienen las definiciones. Para comprobar esto, reimporta los SWCV SAP BASIS 6.40 o SAP BASIS 7.00 si estas en NW 2004 o 2004s.

Si despues de hacer esto sigues sin ver los adaptadores, es definitivamente porque faltan los ficheros. Diles a los de sistemas que busquen la nota OSS donde les explica bien clarito qué hacer.

Ahora te busco la nota y me das los puntitos, jejje
