Can anybody thorough somelight on the following

1) what is label printing ?

2)What are the functionaltiesinvolved in Label printing?

3) what is the procedure to configure this in SD ?

Your WM team will be responsible for Most of the labels if you have WM.

Label Printing : This is the fact of print label from SAP ( from a sapscript or smartforms ), from a program linked to the functionnal transaction. This Label may contains the material reference, its description, ...

Functionnalities involved sapscript/smartforms ( design form tool ).

To configure it, in SD ( label print from an order) SPRO -> Sales & Dist. -> Basic Function -> Output Control ...
