How to rollback IDOCs

Hi:

My scenario is following:

1 Creating material with MSG TYPE MATMAS

2 Adding this material as a component to an existing BOM with MSG TYPE BOMAT.

The question is :

If phase 2 is error,i want to rollback the material which is created in phase 1,is it possible?

Will Serialization by Message Type of ALE be helpful?
