how the synchronous process can be done in BPM?

how the synchronous process can be done in BPM? can anybody tell me with an example and flow as well.

Hi Krish ,

Consider a scenario where you are sending a request from http page to Xi and XI passes these paramers to file . BAPI executes and return the response and in XI you map the BAPI response to Http response and display on http page . This scenario you can achive without BPM as well but if you want to add some error handlign or say alerts then you wouled need BPM .
