Importing Exchange Profile For PI7.0

Hi Experts,

We Installed PI 7.0 with 000,001,066 Clients.

I want to have Another Client For this I followed this SAP Note <b>940309</b>

But While Doing the Following thing i Got the Error like <u><b>Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts </b></u>

<b>Start the Exchange Profile (http://<host>:<port>/exchangeProfile) and logon with PISUPER. Go to 'Connection' on top of page (don't mix up with connections tree on the left) and set the new client.</b>

Here I changed The Client And I Given the Password Which we r Using Master PWD. Then This Error Came.

After this Iam Unable to get Any thing in Exchange Profile. Then What Should I Do Now

Should I Re import the Exchange Profile Or NOt.

Please Give me Some Help.

Did you fully complete the steps mentioned in the OSS note??

• To update the SLD with the new client data, logon to the new client, start transaction RZ70 and press 'Start data collector without Job scheduling'.

Note: Use the "without Job scheduling" button (F9), so that the SLD is updated immediately. Check the 'last updated' timestamp in the SLD.

• Logon to the SLD. Choose 'Technical Systems' and select your 'WebAS ABAP' system. Tab strip 'Business Systems' shows your system. Select it and change to tab strip 'Integration'. Press 'Change' and select the new client. Don't forget to save !

Attention: Reboot the XI J2EE Engine after that to insure that XI gets the changes from the SLD and the Exchange Profile.</i>

Thanks for your quick reply.

NO I haven't completed the remaining Steps Form OSS note.

And then I saw Exchange Profile, then I have this Error.<u><b>Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts </b></u>

Then What to Do Now.

Please help me....

From what i observed from the OSS note, you need to complete the next step and then only goto the exchange profile for the changes to take effect.

HI Krishna,

Before To Do those Steps which u mentioned, We have to do the Following First

change the client in the following properties:

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.client

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.r3.client

com.sap.aii.ib.server.connect.webas.r3.client

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.client

But Iam Unable to View These Properties

You did update those parameters the first time right??

Complete the next step and then come back to the Xchange profile

Hi Krishna,

I will Explain you Clearly What i Did.

I Logon with PISUPER into Exchange Profile.

1) Clicked on the 'Connection' on top of the Page.

2)Then Set the New Client as '100' And Set the Password As My Master PWD.

3)Then Click on SET.

Then I Got This Error

<u><b>Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts</b></u>

Then After that I was Look for These Parameters , But there is no Items in the list .

com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.client

com.sap.aii.connect.rwb.r3.client

com.sap.aii.ib.server.connect.webas.r3.client

com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.client

Please help me.

Check in su01 whether PILDUSER is locked or not

As suggested by Koen,

your PISUPERis locked, you need to check that . if so, unlock the user

In Su01-->Logon data Tab , it is Showing that Password Logon Not Allowed.

Then What to do Now.

Did you check the lock for PILDUSER or PISUPER USer

Yes Krishna,

I Checked PILDUSER in su01.

It was Locked. Then Now I Unlocked it.

The Problem is Clear.

Q1) Can we Able to Work on 001 Client Or Not ????

Q2) Or We Should Use Only 100 ???

You wont be able to logon to client 001 as an Integration server because you have changed the settings

Ok Then

If I Want to Create Another Client Say 200 Means Should i Follow this OSS Note.

If I Followed this Means the New Client 200 will Replace the Settings of the IS.

I Tried to create the New Client By SCC4----Creation of New Client.

SCCL---Local Client Copy

SU01---User Creation

In this Procedure I Struck up with Assigning User Roles to the Newly Created Client .Here the Problem is I am Unable to get User Roles List, To Assign those to New Users.

Then What is the Procedure to Create the New Client With out Disturbing the IS Settings.

Please let me Know.
