Storage location will not appear on the screen in the SC

Hi,

We are using SRM 5.0 and I have a problem with my storage locations in my SC.

I loaded all py storage locations correctly in SRM, I defined them correctly in PPOMA_BBP. I put also 1 storage location as default in the extended attributes.

But once I'm in my SC, it doesn't appear on the screen. I can open drill down and select right storage location. But if click on "cost assignment tab" of on button "check" or button "order" storage location field is again empty.

And of course it isn't transferred to backend.

Can anybody help me on that?

Some weeks ago i had the same problem, i applied the note 1056173 and solved my problem.

Note 989850 is a prerequisite for note 1056173.

Try with them.

Can someone please provide the solution? We are on SRM 4.0 and recently applied SP12. My defaults are set up correctly in PPOMA_BBP but the storage location is blank on the shopping cart. I have looked through the forum and found mention of several notes. I have also looked at those notes. But, none of them appear to apply to us.

If a solution was reached, please share with the group.

FYI...OSS was able to help resolve our problem. Don't know if the note can help you since we are on SRM 4.0. Below is the response from OSS:

989850 Disabling favourites list for location & company co

Note 989850 is a prerequisite for note 1056173.

Hi Monique, were you able to resolve this issue. We are using SRM 4.0 and SP12 and have the same problem. The storage location field is not showing up in the shopping cart. Please share if you were able to fix it. Thanks

Hello Gabriel,

I don't know whether this will help you or not.

But also had exactly the same problem.

In our case our Basis had changed the config settings " Define Backend systems".

So please recheck the settings as per the config guide for all columns.

Hi Yann and Atul,

Ok for this OSS note but I think problem is still different.

And I noticed something new:

1.When I'm creating a shopping cart in SRM front-end, the default settings (namely the storage location I put into my default settings) are not taken over into my SC.

2. Because storage location is not taken over from my default settings I open drill down and choose a specific storage location. It appears on my screen. But once I click on for example "cost assignment tab" or "check " or "order", .... storage location field is again empty.

3. I discovered that I don't have that problem when I'm creating a SC via backend TA BBPSC01. There default storage location is correctly filled in and I don't have the errors I just mentionned above.

So it seems to be a problem linked to the front-end....

Any idea how I can solve this?

We are using SRM 5.0 in classic scenario.

I checked all my attributes and extended attributes in TA PPOMA¨_BBP but everything is ok there. I moved my user from one Purch Group to another to check if I still had the problem, and I still have the problem...
