decimal points in SAP Script

I have a field on PO form &IMP_UPRICE& , this field shows 2 decimal places when the form is printed.I wanted to change it to 3 decimal places by replacing &IMP_UPRICE& with &IMP_UPRICE(.3)& but it is of no use.

Any ideas?

see the issue is that we have 5-6 businesses.

one of the business wants to change decimal places of this field to 3.but other business are OK with the 2 decimal places .in this case, i have to change this on form.right??

if i do this by su3 then it will be for all businesses.

just go to T.code su3 ,

there u can find Defaults tab,

under the decimal Notation u can change the format.
