SXMB_IFR -> Link to Default Client 001

Hi there,

I managed to install IDES ECC 6.0 with includes the PI 7.0 (XI) as well. I did the client copy from client 001 to client 100.

I login into client 100 and type tcode SXMB_IFR. And it looks like the Exchange Infrastructure Tools (such as: Integration Builder/Repository) username/password pointing into client 001.

Anybody know how to change this settings to different client ?.

Hi,

in PI the integration engine is installed in client 001 per default.

This means, all PI users are configured in client 001 as well. When you try to logon to the IB tools or RWB etc, the user authentication is executed against the users in client 001.

Only one client in the PI system can act as an Integration Server.

If you want to configure the IS in another client please follow SAP note 940309.

Basically you need to designate client 100 as your Integration Server by doing as below: sxmb_adm->Click on "Integration Engine Configuration Data" Role of Business System and Corresponding Integ. Server are pointing to correct URL.

what do you mean by username/password pointing into client 001 ?
