catching bapi exception from xi

hi all xi profs.

iam doing one scenario like i have created a remote function module and under exceptions tab of RFM i have created one exception and under tables tab i have created one itab.

but when i import the same remote function module from sapr/3 to xi.

iam getting all table fields of rfc but iam not getting the exception i have creted in this remote function module.

While creating the RFC in R3, make sure u had checked the Pass by value checkboxes.

Also make sure that RFC is activated

Check out for the exception tab after u had imported the RFC and there u could see ur Exception structure

Hi,

You will be able to see the fault message when you try to create a mapping provided the sender interface has a fault message associated with it.

the exceptions you defined are under message type "fault", refer to this blog.
