Hi Kish

If you have to delete a SWCV, you have to delete all the namespaces with in that first. Open a name space and delete all the user defined objects in that first. Then delete the Std Fault and log data types and delete it and remove the name space from the SWCV by opening the SWCV and using - button on the name space. Now activate the changes. This will delete the name space.

Repeat the step for all the name space with in the SWCV. After all objects are deleted. Open the SWCV and use the menu, SWCV ->Delete object.

see the below link

If you are using SP19 then it will be very easy to delete at once

Cheers..

Hi,

Please delete the objects in the following order and activate it side by side:-

1. Interface Mapping.

2. Message Mapping.

3. Imported archives.

4. Message Interfaces.

5. Message Types.

6. Data types.

7. Namespace from the Software Component.

8. Except Fault Message activation, activate all the deleted objects change list.

9. Delete teh changelist. (You cannot activate teh deleted object changelist for fault messages).

Now the namespace owuld have got deleted.

Hi kish,

jus go to ur SWCV --double click. it shows all the namespaces there. jus delete ur namespace from there.

but first delete all the objects from that namespace. and activate ur change list.

1. Delete all Objects ( except the 2 deafult Fault message types ).

2. Activate Change List.

3. Delete the 2 Default Fault message types.

4. Double Click on your SWCV, delete the Namespace by clicking on the Appropriate Button ( Minus Sign ).

5. Activate the change list.
