free goods ??

hai,

I have a issue in free goods,

i have a product X for every 10 products of x , 1 product of y goes as free,

i have maintained a delivery control as" B- delivery only if main item is fully delivered " and my main item is out of stock i.e 0 material is there, my free item Y

is having stock,

i do sales order which confirms me date of 8.06.2007, and by mistake i do delivery

and in delivery only free item appears and that is delivered and is billed with

0.without the main item tthe free item is going ,if that happens the customer walks away with the free goods without the main item not paying any thing,

how do i control that woithout the main item the free item should not go?

i have used delivery control, that is not working out(issuing oly awarning)

but not stoping from delivering without the main item ?

try to use the minimum quantity requirements for free goods. Also try to authorise availability check done. That should help I Guess.

in vbn1... condiion record,you have feild minimum qty .. give here 10 nos... try i think it will work....

i have given 9 as the minimum quantity, i dont think so that would effect the delivery.

ask your abaper to write a user exit for these.. you can control by user exit...
