We took over the installation of an already installed Netweaver 2004s product. We are trying to determine what components were previously installed - for example, was the groupware component installed? Any ideas on how to discover this?
Hi Christine
You can check which packages are installed using transaction SPAM.
In SPAM click on the glasses "Package Level" so you will get an overview of the already installed components.
You can also check the filesystem and see which folders / filesystems where created for your Netweaver 2004s product.
If you see a /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<SYS NR>/j2ee for example then a Java stack was also installed.
I would recommend taking a look at the installation guide and using that as a reference to check which things were installed.
Kind regards
Tom

Hi Christine,
If java is also installed, check the system information at http://myhost.domain.com:5XX00 where XX is your instance number.
There you can find the components installed. Also, look at http://myhost.domain.com:5XX00/nwa.
For abap, check your spam details.
Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards,
