problem in sap gui for java 700 rev 3

hi

i have recently downloaded sap gui for java 700 rev 3,

then i proceed in following way

1. installed jre 1.4.9

and set the environment variables also

2. then installed platinnt_*** which i downloaded

3. then i opened the icon which is on desktop and then when i select new to add systems to access remotely , its showing all red colour cross symbols beside system icon and group/server icon

i have all installed properly but i am not getting where is the mistacke?

plz help me

Hello,

fields with red icons are mandatory entries which are still empty.

The first step in this dialog would be to select a system from the dropdown-listbox. In case the list is empty, you have not configured the SAP logon information (message servers of the systems, routers etc.).

The "help" button in this dialog will bring you to the manual. The page displayed contains also a link named "Setting Configuration Files" which points to what to do when the message servers are not configured yet.

There have been some threads with similar questions before. I recommend to have a look at
