Hi,
we have a 5 Node installation running with a dispatcher. While most of the time everything works fine, we sometimes have problems with single nodes.
Is there any way to monitor single NW Java Nodes with ordinary SAP tools, so our data gets alarmed without explicitly checking the console or the logs?

Jan
Hi Jan,
you can monitor the number of jlaunch processes: each server node has a jlaunch process on OS level (and then there's also one jlaunch process for the dispatcher and one for the sdm).
So you can use the monitoring of the operating system for example. In your case, if there are less than 7 jlaunch processes a server node (or the dispatcher / sdm) is missing.

Cornelia
