When i execute my smartform, i get an error saying that
Reference field <fieldname> unknown in form.
While i have checked that this field is a part of the work area that is passed to the form and is thus visible in the import interface of the form . I have dragged this field in the text where it needs to be displayed.
Please let me know if i m missing something. The concerned field is a quantity field.
regards,
Priyank
hi
for quantity better use character fields rather than the quantity field speciifed, this will solve ur probs.

Hi,
u may be trying to display a Qunatity/currency field which doesnt exist in the same table.
First go thru the table thru se11-> display-> select the tab Currency/qunatity fields.
if the reference table for that field(which u r trying to display) is not the same table, then u will get the error.
To disable this type error, select the Rference field from Refernce table .
Revert back if any issues,
Reward with points if helpful.

Hi Naveen,
Actually i m using a dictionary structure for the field, not a table. I have now added a new field for unit in my structure and in Currency/quantity field, i now have the reference table as the same structure.
structure name is ZCERTI_PRINT
concerned field name = PESBR
type MENGE_D
unit field name - meins (type meins)
reference table of pesbr is now zcerti_print.
reference field is meins.
still i have the same error.
any further hints???
regards,
Priyank
