Mapping tax codes

In R/3 system for a country 'A', have 2 tax codes V0=0%tax and V1=6% tax

In country 'B',Again have 2 tax codes V0=0% tax and V1=11% tax.

Is it enough I define 4 tax codes A0,A1,A2 and A3 in EBP and then Map A0 to V0, A1 to V1, A2 to V0 and A3 to V1.

Will the EBP tax codes of A2 and A3 determine the correct tax codes in R/3 ie tax codes of country B.

Or is there any other solution

It wont allow replicating.

When I try entering the 2nd V1 which is diff from 1st V1,it will say the code already exist

Hi

I am not sure, whether this suits your requirements. Do let me know.

Try maintaining the Tax codes in a Z Custom table based on the Country codes and Tax codes as Key fields and then using the BADIs suggetsed earlier, you can easily map the tax codes as per you business requirements.

Hope this will help.

Hi

Which R/3 and SRM versions are you using ?

Just replicate same tax codes mapping from R/3 to SRM system. No need to do any other mapping as such in detail.

SRM contains so many BADIs, to help you out for mapping tax codes.
