Unable to view the Archived Printlist entries through OADR

Former Member

Hi,

The problem description is as follows :

We first created the document using OAC3, then commited the document

using the Storage Queues in OAM1.

Now whenever we try to view the Print List entries using the

transaction OADR the following error is displayed in the SAP GUI :

SAP ArchiveLink (no entry found)

Also no entry for the document is created in the TOADL table (as

earlier was advised in forum to look for an entry for the Print List in this

table).

We have hardcoded TOADL table in TOACO table and the same is used

through transaction code OAC3 as Link table.

But TOADL table is not populated with any values. Eventhough the Print

List is sucessfully comitted.

We are using the NOACTION protocol.

We are using the "BKPF" bussiness object and "ALF" document type.

Please reply ASAP.

Thanks in advance!

Steps for the Reconstruction

1. Generate Print List using SA38 --> RFBELJ00

2. From OAM1 --> Storage Queue execute the Archiving Request to commit

the document. Print list is sucessfully commited to the content

repository.

3. Search the Archived Printlist entry through OADR

Manish

For printlist archiving, you need to perform the following configuration:

1. OAC0 for the content repository

2. OAC2 for the document type (document class = ALF)

3. OAC3 for the link table (Object=draw)

Help this help.

Hi Manish,

Please also make sure your output device ARCH had been

set up correctly using transaction SPAD.

Host spool access method tab -> select I (Archive service)

Device type -> ARCHLINK

I hope this helps.

Please tell me know.

Hello,

Even we are experiencing the same issue...we could not see any entries in the txn OADR..in the txn OAM1, we were able to see the requests in the storage requests and after we commit all the requests by pressing down arrow there...these must go to OADR..but it's not happening for single report execution...when we tried out for all the reports say 10..we were able to its entries in oadr..but for only one report, we could not see any entry...!

there are no issues with number range, content repository, archive output device,....

only the entries are not seen in OADR..also, from OADR, all the entries were going to J6NY txn which is IXOS based txn and used to view the archived print lists...but we can not see here also...

Since OADR is the SAP transaction code, we should all the archived entries here, right?? then to the trsnsaction used to retrieve the archived lists....such as J6NY....

plz let me know if it is not clear..thanks to reply ASAP,

Hi Manish,

TOADL is the correct table but also check the table specidifed in OAC3 config entry.

When you processed the queue in OAM1 did it process it successfully?

If you need to dicsuss this send me an email at soyab.husein@tycolectronics.com and I'll forward you my phone number. I'm quite familiar with OAM1 and the queues.

Thanks.
