I maintain my approver per user using SLApprover Attribute. I maintain my roles and within the personalisation tab, the spending limit. my requester is assigned this role and in SU01 of user personalization tab, the value for my spending limit is inherited.
HOWEVER, when creating my shopping cart, Approval preview says no Workflow approval can be found.
IF i maintain my spending limit directly in SU01, (ie overwrite what is inherited from my role) then it WORKS!!
I dont really want to maintain Spending limit at SU01 level.
Any ideas?
I'm using SRM5.5 SP8, Classic scenario - WS10000276.

Hi,
If the Preview says " no Workflow approval can be found"
that means the Workflow was not triggered.Have you checked the starting conditions for this workflow???Please check the same.
Also see if the foll note helps:
Note 979296 - WS10000276 obsolete, use WS14000109 instead

Adam,
I believe WS10000276 looks at Head of the Organization flag to add the approver not at SLApprover. Please maintain your org structure as below and test it out
-Root Org
---User Org
-
Dept 101
-
App101 (Make this guy Head of Org)
-
User101
Then your WS10000276 should work fine.
Thanks,
Sreedhar
