Optimizer_feature_enable error( oracle parameter adjustments)

Hi all,

oyr sap version is 4.7E and DB is oracle 9.2.0.7 os is HP -ux.

In db16 i am getting a warning OPTIMIZER_FEATURES_ENABLE set to properly.

1. Present value is 9.2.0 when i am trying to set it as 9.2.0.7 it is not working and database will not start up.

2. what are the exact EVENT parameter values for oracle version 9.2.0.7 and what is this parameter use?

Please kindly give your valuable help on these two issues.

Follow recommendations from 124361 and adapt parameters in DB17 accordingly.

delete OPTIMIZER_FEATURES_ENABLE from initSID.ora

What is the use of parameter EVENT in init(sid).ora file

read SAP note 124361 again.

these are usually used to activate bug fixes or oracle behaviors.
