WD ABAP in EP - session time out of WD ABAP

Env: EP7, WebAS ABAP Nw 2004s

We run a WD ABAP application (system 1) in the EP (system 2) which works generally fine. A navigation menu on the left side calls a WD screen in another iView.

When we click on the menu the WD displays, when I click it a second time an session time out message (from the WebAs ABAP) comes up, the third time it is Ok, 4th time failure and so on.

It seems that the WD user gets logged out since the second click is interpreted as "navigating away". I figured out that this behaviour could be configured, but I do not find where (in the EP?, WebAS ABAP?).

Any hint?

we run run a WD ABAP application (system 1, nw2004s, sp9) in the EP (system 2, nw2004s, sp11) too. and have had similiar experiences.

Try sap-note 1056269, it should help.
