Records Management start framework & others

Hi, Profs and Gurus!

I trying to develop in SAP Records Management area and have a few questions.

I have misunderstading with starting RM framework.

My typical schieme is:

1 i implement workflow step which performs an an activity at, for exmple, disposition.

2 for this purpose, i create additional method in appropriate BOR object. Step is designed for background procesing. it sends request to RM framework and catches result.

3 To be able to start RM framework correctly i aways create static method (like CL_SRM_DIS_VISUAL START_DISPOSITION_EXT). The aim of method - create request.

4 I declare and perfom method to perform action and return parameters.

I used func SRM_START_FRAMEWORK_NEWMODE at step 3. This func uses role IS_SP_VISUALIZATION_WIN_CLASS of service provider to perform the action.

Question is

Is it currect way (call of SRM_START_FRAMEWORK_NEWMODE to start RM Framework)?

May be exist another way, for example, using interface IF_SRM_SP_CLIENT_OUTPLACE to start framework.

I will be very pleasured for all comments, witch helps me to understand technology.
