By misstake the trans on /usr/sap was deleted.
Does anyone knows how to regenerate the content of that directory(and subdirectories)
We do not hawe a backup as this is an old test system
Hi,
1. You need to recreate the /usr/sap/trans directory tree, as per before.
2. You should made the initial adjustment on TPPARAM
3. You should recreate the TMS Role using transaction STMS including transport
routes.
After that, do a double check on your STMS.
cheers,
Vincent

Hi,
deleted trans folder will not create a problem and i feel it will work, if folder structures are recreated, because i coulnot see any content inside these folders.
1.create trans folder inside /usr/sap/
2.Inside trans folder create folder bin,buffer,cofiles,data,EPS,etc,log,sapnames,tmp..
3.Inside EPS folder create in,log,out.
It should work normal.
reward points if helpful............

The only way to get it back will be through a backup and if you dont have that, then I am afraid their is no other way.
You can copy the dir's from some other system but you cant get the same one back.
