item proposal error

Hi Gurus

I am trying to create a Item Proposal for a material but I am getting an error saying that

" No item category available(Table T184 MS 0001)"

please give me a solution for my problem.

Hi,

From IMG (SPRO Transaction)

Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Sales -> Sales Documents -> Sales Document Item -> Assign Item Categories

first u create the item proposal PV for the sold to party and make the proper item cat assignment PV NORM PVN. hope this will clear out

Go to item category assignment table. check for the combination of order type + item cat grp. I am not sure which order type are you using.. if it is standard order type (PV or SA) and what is the item category grp (probably "0001" check for the item cat grp maintained at material master..).

I think that is missing in your case.. so maintain it at item cat assignment.
