wat is the use of SE72

SE72 transaction for style,

when you look at SE71 Transaction,it is form painter,it will have Pragraph format and charcter format.

if you want to formatting option to Standard text(Reusability SO10) ,then we create style,here you can maintain own paragraph format and charcter format.

you can use Style into standard text.

Note : style should not use in form painter,it is only for standard text

Hi,

when ever u want to create some standard text ( TC: So10) and then need to include this text in the script. You have very limited formating options in So10 , You can use the formatting options that have been created in SE72.

TC: SE72 for providing the formatting options for the texts in so10.

TC: SO10 for creating the Standard texts that needs to be included in the sapscript .

Use a style to define the paragraph and character formats for your documents, thus determining the text formatting. You can use a style, for example, to highlight certain character strings or entire paragraphs.

You can allocate a style to every text. However, usually styles are used for the main windows of forms, into which the user can directly enter text.

If you allocate a style to a window, the system deactivates any format specifications of the underlying form for this window. The system then formats and prints the text entirely according to the format specifications defined in the style.
