What is form-interface in smartforms?

Hi Narsaiah,

By using that form interface we can import parameters,tables passed by the driver program. It is the interface between form and Driver program.

Hi Narsaiah,

When you create a SmartForm and activate it creates a function module which has same interface as the Form Interface of the smartform. Smartforms are always called by calling the corresponding function module. There is 1 fm for each smartform. The form interface has the IMPORT, EXPORT, TABLES and EXCEPTION, same like in a fm

· A form interface to transfer application data to the form definition.

· A form interface in which you define parameters for application data.

You can pass any data retrieved by the data retrieval program to the form using the form interface. Since the system generates a function module from the Smart Form as soon as you activate it, the form interface equals that of the generated function module. For this reason, you can pass the same data in the form interface as you could pass to a function module.
