hi iam unable to create tcp/ip connection from r/3 to xi.error code 679

plz help me

Hi Sriram

Some time I have that kind of problems when the gateway host and port cannot be resolved. So look into the services file if you have the port sapgwXX where XX is the sysnr and also look into the hosts file if your host name is on there.

Ur error is "Transaction program is not registered."

Make sure you have the SAP Gateway Host and SAP Gateway Service correctly defined. SAP Gateway Service should be sapgwXX< where XX is R/3 system number
