[PCK] Users after Installation

Hello,

I get the PCK installation files from service.sap.com and deploy them with SDM. After configuration of aii.properties I have access to localhost:50100/pck/start.

But now I'm not able to login into pck, because I have no password for pckuser oder

pckadmin. In documentation, they use sapinst for installation and have to give passwords

for this users, but with SDM I didn't have to.

I have one password for every! user (just test installation), so I tried this. Also I checked

the sap password abcd1234 but still have no access.

Which password is used here?

You have to create new users with UME.

Check note 746328 for the necessary roles.

Means the big different between PCK installation by SDM or sapinst is the automatically

creation of the pck-users?! If I use the SDM I have to create them manually, right?!

I am not sure if you have to create the pckuser manually or not, but you have to assign the roles anyway to be able to log on to the PCK.

Hi,

now I created a user called pckuser and gave all rights/groups to him. I'm able

to log into the PCK, but if I try to configure, I'm not able to select adapters. The drop down field adapter type is empty.

I checked SAP Management Console and all services are green.

Any ideas, what I missed to configure?

I use PCK NW2004s SP11

Could it be, that I have problems with the groups? Like in note 746328 I insert into the given components (like sap.com/com.sap.xi.mdt*mdt -> role: display) my new created user. Is this correct? When I open my user in UME non of the roles are shown...

Have you allied all 5 SCAs mentioned in the blog?

I have not experienced any issues in this deployment.

I deployed 3 SCA and 2 SDA in following order:

SAPXIAFC11_0-10003481.SCA

SAPXIAF11_0-10003482.SCA

SAPXIPCK11_0-10003485.SCA

aii_af_ra_ms_sonic_client.sda

aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda
