Hi Shivaprasath,
Welcome to the world of SAP and specifically to Netweaver Mobile.
Firstly, To know what is SAP and the basic idea of SAP, just go though the below links:

<b>Netweave Mobile :</b>
Coming to Netweaver Mobile , You can build applications based on the type of data being used:
If the data is Simple then you go for GENERIC SYNC Applications
If the data is complex then you opt for SMART SYNC Applications
The best way to learn is from <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/d0/c21e3e1c3b120ae10000000a114084/content.htm">help.sap.com</a>

Hi Sivaprasath,
Sincs you are new to MI the best place to start is the MDK documentation.
This is the link for it <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/21eba3a7-0601-0010-b982-92f1fca3258a">Mobile Development kit</a>
It contains all you need to know for developing MI applications.
Since you wish to develop an online application and if you have a basic knowledge about MI then you can directly jump to the sections "Go and Create" and "Developing Applications -> Synchronization -> Generic Synchronization"
There are two types of MI applications that one can develop.
1. Generic Sync Application
2. Smart Sync Application.
Generic application are online/always connected applications. (This is the one for you.)
Smart Sync Applications are offline/occasionally connected applications.
In the documentation link mentioned above you will get all the steps required to build any type of the above mentioned applications.

Hi Shivaprasath,
You can develop two types of application.
-- Generic Sync Application
-- Smart sync Application.
Generic sync application is used for lesser data and Smart sync is used for complex data.
So using which you have to develop an application?
please refer these links to know more about Generic sync and smart sync applications
Hope this helps
