how to configure icm/host_full_name

Dear all,

Currently in our Solman, under smicm we get the parameter for

icm/host_full_name = kwak

but I need to change it to a FQDN

icm/host_full_name = kwak.xx.xx.com

when I checked the parameter change option, change this particular parameter is disabled.

Also I added the icm/host_full_name parameter in the instance profile (RZ10). But still its not reflecting.

Can anyone help me how to change this particular profile ?

ya! I have restarted already.. but after setting the parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL parameter it worked.

You are spelling the parameter wrong. The correct parameter name is icm/host_name_full.

Hi,

Did you restart your instance? If you have maintained in Rz10 and activated, definitely it should work. Update if you have anyother info.

Feel free to revert back.
