Web Service Missing in WSADMIN!

Former Member

Hi,

We had created some Web Services in Development System and Transported the same to

Test System along with Web Service Definition (Z_SERVICE1_WSD) and its Virtual Interface

(Z_SERVICE1_VI).

When checked in Test System, the WSD and VI are listed out in SE80 and is Active.

But when checked in txn 'WSADMIN' in Test sytem, the WSD is Not listed. Any inputs as to why

it is not listed in WSADMIN in Test system ?

Also checked in Txn WSCONFIG for the WSD, and got a msg 'No released Services Exist'.

Does it mean we have to manually change any settings for WSD to be listed in WSADMIN?

Hi, Prathap.

i'm using NW2004s so i think your situation is a little bit

different(NW2004, right?) but might be a hint for you.

Let's say, we have web service created from RFM.

We have to transport like the followings.

1. RFM itself

2. released object from WSCONFIG - this is client dependent

3. We have to "activate service" in T-CD SICF of Access Address

of the web service that you can check in T-CD WSADMIN.

Good Luck.
