unable to change the attributes of the user.

Hi All,

We wanted the user to be able to change his attributes.

When the user logs on to web and try to change his attributes (changing attribute BUK value from XXXX to YYYY) he gets the message "user has been succesfully changed". But the value is still XXXX.

The user has both SAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE and SAP_EC_BBP_MANAGER roles.

In the node Maintain Attribute Access Rights by Role, for both the roles we maintained access 30 (change).

are we missing any config?

we are using SRM 5.0 (SRM_SERVER release 550, level 0007 highest support SAPKIBKT07)

Hi,

The manager role should be enough to change user attribute.

The transaction is BBPATTRMAINT.

Employee role should use BBPUM02 or BBPAT05 to change their own attribute.

To maintain the user attributes i think you have to give the Administrator role..
