Hi,
We are trying to import a DEBMDM06.xml file with 3 customer master
records. The steps we have done are as follows :-
1. Start MDIS
2. Edit the mdis.ini file to put the username and password to access
the CUSTOMER repository
3. Create the Port - "OCfrom31i" - in the Console for CUSTOMER
repository and set the Processing as automatic, type as inbound and
attached the appropriate map - OC_DEBMDM06_R347AP.
4. Put the xml file in the "Ready" folder of the port defined.
The file gets picked up by the MDIS, however, it is not getting
processed correctly. It is moved to the Exception Folder.
After this, when i go to the Import Manager and try to do the import
with Type as Port for the Remote System, and the port "OCfrom31i
[Exception]" i am getting an popup which says "Error connecting to
Source" and with a detailed message "Logon Error : Failed to parse XML
File". However when i tried opening thefile mentioned in the error message directly using import manager it worked fine.
Please help in resolving the issue with the MDIS - why it is not
processing successfully - and The reprocessing of the port in exception.
Thanks & Rgds,
Nilesh
Hi Nilesh,
Are you using SP05 Patch 00?
Because the same thing happen to me with MATMAS05 XML and for my understanding this issue it's going to be resolved with SP05 Patch 01... I don't know the release date, i believe it's 28/05...

Hi Nilesh,
you are saying that you use the Port: "OCfrom31i [Exception]"
Does this mean that you try to use the file which were in the exception folder? Because this one will look different.
Did you store the schema in the XML-Schema table?

Florens

Are you using the right XML-schema in your port definitoin ?
You can verify correctness of XML-File and xsd-definition together in XML-Spy.
