How to check the DB size ???

1)How can i check the Size of the Database at the OS level using SQL command????

2)Is there any difference in the Tablespace Administration of R/3 and BW.

Honestly im not aware of any Difference..

for DB size, check this interesting script:

as for tablespace admin, not much differences, but this also depends on what version R/3 or BW were built, on BASIS 4.6D and below, it qs using the old tablespace layout.

on R/3 PSAPBTABD was the biggest growing tablespace, on BW, it's PSAPFACTD

on new layouts, as from WAS 6.x and above, you are right, not much sifferences between those 2 systems as per datbaase layout.
