Hi experts,
I heard there has been some changes concerning naming convention in data sources generated from planning area, but I can't remember whether it was from APO 2.x to 3.x, or from 3.x to 4.x.
We are planning to upgrade APO 3.x to 5.0.
Thanks for your inputs in advance!
Regards,
Sally
Hello Sally,
In 5.0, you can choose the name of your planning area datasource (e.g the name is 9A<your chosen name here>). You can also produce multiple export datasources for given planning area (e.g. 9Axxx, 9Ayyy can also be created).
In 4.0, the you can also choose your own name (e.g. 9A<your name>). However, you can only create one datasource for your planning area.
I am not totally sure, but i think in 3.0 the name of the datasource is auto-genarated.
Hope this helps.
