Migration of asset values

Hi everyone,

do you have any idea how to migrate asset values when asset master data are in the system already?

The BAPI method FIXEDASSET_CREATEINCLVALUES supports this but for some reason we cannot migrate asset master data AND values at the same time.

The BAPI method FIXEDASSET_CHANGE doesn't support values. We use LSMW for migration.

Any idea? I really don't want to create my own batch input record.

Hi Andreas,

We were trying to use this BAPI for uploading legacy fixed asset data with values. We get an error saying "Asset Class does not exit". Can you help us understand if there is a way out to over come this error?
