hi,

not all the features in an ides system are activated and moreover in the real time system there are no 1000, 0001 company codes to copy. Its called a plain vanilla system.

otherwise all the t.codes and screen work the same way.

HI.,

IDES saytem is like a play ground in which we do all the transcations,But in Real time systme we dont have as many reference clients as IDES systme have,We have one reference client 0001 In real time systme as their land scape is laid as development,Testing & Production systems

Important thing is all the screens & T.codes are sames in both

IDES is a education SAP pack... we can do any thing..but there is no landscape in IDES. this is only for education purpose.

NONIDES is realtime pack. In this we have landscape. in that 3 servers1.development 2. quality..testing 3. production.

IDES is a Dummy system on which practice od SAP can be Done. It is more or less a sand box or playground to work in any & every way.

Original Pack is the real time system, which will have different SAP landscape like Development, Quality (test) & Production server. It is also ossible to create a Sandbox in the original pack.
