GRC 5.2 - SLD, Standalone Gateway

Hello Everyone,

I have a NW04s SR2 pure Java AS system (Windows 2003) that will be used to implement CC, AE, and RE. I have a local SLD with a standalone gateway running on this same server. I have followed all the steps to setup the data supplier bridge between the SLD and the standalone gateway.

I have a second server running NW04s ABAP AS MyERP which I am trying to setup in RZ70 to connect to the gateway on the first server.

I am getting the following error when I press the "Start Data collection and Job Scheduling" button.

0: cpsapud1_DR8_54 : Execute program: SLDAPPL_SERV

0: cpsapud1_DR8_54 : Program scheduled: 20070531 045700

1: cpsapud1_DR8_54 : Event-controlled job already exists; scheduling not necessary

Can someone provide any ideas on what could be causing the problem.

Thanks.

Claudio

That's because up to NW7.0 a Netweaver installation with only usagetype Java (non ABAP) will not install a gateway, and therefore You can't connect from Your ABAP system via the RFC connection. Look into note 1172161 and 1057720.

Also have a look into the Master Guide for NW7.0 (SLD part).
