Installation on AIX

Hi everyone,

Could you please assist me how to install Netweaver 7.0 on AIX and Oracle.

I need to know right from the scratch as I'm new to AIX.

And what are all the environmental variables need to be set and how to set them.

Hi Kishore.

The enviornment variables has to set under root.

1. export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java14(if ur using 64bit,checj=k the path of java)

2. export DISPLAY=<host name>0.0

3. export SAPINSTJRE_HOME=/usr/java14(if ur using 64bit,checj=k the path of java)

4. export LIBPATH=/sapmnt/<SID>/exe

5.export LD_LIBPATh=/sapmnt/<SID>/exe

6.export LIB_PATH=/sapmnt/<SID>/exe.

if you have installation guide for oracle/unix then search for AIX and set the parameters as per installation guide. The prereq is mentioned in the installation guide.

Its not a matter of sharing.and its not a matter of licence/propertiory.

The experince of mine while installting ECC6.0 with aix 5.3.
